Story in a Bottle Wine Club

Our wine club focuses on what we believe sets us apart – discovering exceptional producers.

We’re a retail wine store but we’re also wine importers. What we’ve learned from our travels through the wine countries of Europe and across the Pacific Northwest is to focus on the winemaker, not just the wine. We look for small family estates, sometimes fifth or sixth generation winemakers. We look for those who are as passionate about how the grapes are grown in the vineyard as they are with how the wine is made in the cellar. We look for producers who hold family traditions dear but are also open to innovative winemaking practices.

We’ve found those are the winemakers who experiment with varietals and terroirs with great results. Those are the estates who make good wines even in off years.

Those are the producers we look to import and sell in our store – and feature in our wine club.

How it Works

Every other month, we’ll select three wines from one producer. Each allotment will be a different producer. The cost is $125 per month. We’ll include a profile of that month’s producer and tasting notes for each of their wines. In addition, wine club members will qualify for one free Saturday in-store tasting for you and a guest.

We will notify you of the date the club selection is available to pick up in the store. Unfortunately, shipping is not yet available.

The Fine Print

Your credit card will be kept on file and charged on the 15th of the month when a wine club box is scheduled (i.e. every other month). You can cancel or pause your subscription at anytime via your customer account or by contacting us at contact@storyinabottlewines.com. You must be 21 years old to participate.
