Château Haut-Batailley 2022 Verso de Haut-Batailley

Dark ruby, purple reflections, broad ochre rim. Fresh sweet cherries, hint of liquorice, hint of figs, light nougat. Full-bodied, some currants on the palate, ripe tannins, subtle structure, savory but a fine fruitiness on the finish.

Pair with braised beef, steak with Bearnaise sauce, lamb, or duck.
