Cossetti Barbera d'Asti Superiore La Vigna Vecchio DOCG 2021

Aged 18 months, 12 in a combination of new and second oak. Intense ruby color that acquires light garnet undertones with aging. Moderate tannins, bright acidity and plenty of vivid fruits on the nose and palate with a slight spiciness. Pleasantly full and harmonious flavor. Barbera wines are meant to drink young, but this one will age great for another 10 years. A great accompaniment to a wide variety of foods.
