Fermented slowly in small oak barrels and aged in wood for a minimum of one year. Ready to drink now with the potential for long aging. Bright ruby red that lightens to garnet over time. Gentle and persistent aroma of red berries with hints of plum, well-mixed with spices & vanilla. Well-bodied with a rich tannic structure, while still soft and balanced. Delicious on its own, and pairs well with a large variety of international cuisine and aged cheeses.
