Named after Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruitful abundance. this is an awesome red Burgundy - muscular, rich and elegant.

This village level Pinot Noir punches well above its weight class. Most Bourgogne, or village level, wines are what the Frech consider generic reds with grapes picked from around a specific village. In this case, the village of Pommard is excellent, and 30% of this wine comes from Premier Crus vineyards – second only to the famed Grands Crus vineyards.
