The Nerello Mascalese grape is considered the prince of the Etna area, yielding great reds for aging with an intense red color, This wine presents with lots of red fruit, aromatic herbs, tobacco and spices.  On the palate it is striking for its acidity and marked minerality typical of the volcanic terroir.
