Frank Pinotage 2021

The Pinotage grape is a signature varietal of South Africa. First cultivated in 1925 as a cross between Pinot Noir and Cinsaut, it typically produces deep red wines with smoky, bramble and earthy flavors, sometimes with notes of bananas and tropical fruit.   

This modern style Pinotage presents on the nose with blackcurrant, juicy plums and notes of vanilla. A smooth palate, with silky tannins and a refreshing acidity. The finish is full of soft, ripe berry flavors.
