L’Aventure’s “Crazy Paso Robles” red blend is a bold wine with blackberry, plum, cherry and white pepper flavors with big but nicely balanced tannins and acidity.

Winemaker Stephan Asseo became known as a maverick in Bordeaux, where he felt constrained by its AOC laws. He researched South Africa, Argentina, Lebanon and Napa, he fell in love with Paso Robles, where he founded L’Aventure in 1998 and started making wine his way. Critics and wine lovers have taken note.
