Moscone Bussia Barolo DOCG 2013

"Bussia" represents one of the most prestigious areas of the entire Barolo region. 2013 will be remembered as the “vintage harvest” because the grape collection was delayed 15 days past the normal harvest date.

Pale garnet.. Intense potpourri aromas, with subtle yet firmly ripe cranberry and red cherry, and a feel of greens and Italian herbs. Very savory and briny on the palate, with fresh rose petals, underripe redcurrant and red cherry, as well as raspberry, then a sure darkish rendition of molasses, burnt butter, and tar. Lovely.
